Şenel Ağbi’ye
Yozgat’ın bağrından doğan bir ışıksın,
Mahallenin sesi, neşesi, bakışıksın.
Muhtarlık tahtı sana dar gelirdi,
Gönüllerde kurdun en yüksek yeri.
Eski dost değil, eskimeyen izsin,
Her gönülde bahar, her sözde güzelsin.
Torun seviyorsun ama yaşa aldırmaz,
Zaman sana işlemez, gönlün solmaz.
Cenazede omuz, düğünde alkış,
Halkın derdine koşarsın telaşsız.
Ne yorulursun, ne "yarın" dersin,
Her güne gülen yüzle serin serin.
Allah emeklerini boşa koymasın,
Yollarını düz, kaderini hoş kılsın.
Tekerine taş değmesin, yolun açık,
Yüzün hep gülsün, gönlün hep sıcak.
Bugün doğum günün, kutlu olsun Şenel Ağbi,
Dualarımızda adın, yüreğimizde sevgili.
Sağlıkla, huzurla, bereketle dolsun ömrün,
Daha nice yıllara, mutlulukla yürüsün günün.
Saygı, hürmet, gönülden bir selam sana,
Bu şiir benden hediye, dostlukla, sevdayla.

You are a light born from the bosom of Yozgat,
You are the voice, the joy, the look of the neighborhood.
The throne of mukhtar would seem narrow to you,
The highest place of the wolf in the hearts.
Not an old friend, you are an old trail that does not get old,
Spring in every heart, you are beautiful in every word.
You love grandchildren, but they don't care about age,
Time does not work for you, your heart does not fade.
Shoulder at the funeral, applause at the wedding,
You run to the problems of the people without fuss.
You won't get tired, you won't say "tomorrow",
Cool cool with a smiling face every day.
May Allah not waste your efforts,
May he make your paths straight, your destiny pleasant.
Don't touch a stone on your wheel, the way is clear,
May your face always smile, your heart is always warm.
It's your birthday today, happy birthday Brother Şenel,
Your name is in our prayers, beloved in our hearts.
May your life be filled with health, peace and blessings,
