To distinguish from the past
The sorrows of the unworthy take
Which make us all cowards
Upon the flickering chimneys of the ego itself
The smoke that travels through the narrow streets of your mind
For remembering the burden of mankind’s meticulous conscience
To reason or to understand
On your behalf, what troubles may come
When we have shuffled off this uncanny nature of life
There will be good times both for you and me
Singing to the deaf ears of political tyranny
Having the knowledge of the guardians of pure reason
I say no to all
I say yes to all
What difference does it make
When you only see the world through two little dots of your own
To render it reason
There is no need to be seen
With a bare bodkin, it ends the turmoil of the native hue of reason
