Dünya bir misafir, ben garip kulum,

Hak yolu olsun da dikenler batsın.
Kimsenin lokması gözümde değil,
Gönlümde ukde yok, sözümde değil.
Rızkımı yazmışsa Rabbim, o gelir,
Kısmete hasetle gözüm dar baksın?
Komşumun bahçesi çiçekle dolsa,
Ben de şükrederim halime olsa.
Nice güller soldu, nice can yansa,
Elin gülüne göz diken yansın.
Ben bir aşk yolcusu, dertli seyyahım,
Malda değil gözüm, hakta muradım.
O dost meclisinde yanar arzum,
Dünyayı arayan gönülden sarsın.
