Between the light and shadowed street,
I walk where silence and echoes meet.
Hope still lingers, faint and weak,
a broken voice I cannot seek.
For years I ran, my dreams in chase,
but lost my heart along the race.
Each dawn begins, yet nights repeat,
the same old wound, the same defeat.
Faith was close, as if to hold,
then turned to cloud, then storm and cold.
Now without a star to guide,
I wander through darkness, open-eyed.
I do not yield, yet fight no more,
a waiting soul at a silent shore.
Shall I fall or rise once more?
I do not know what lies in store.

Şiirin çıkış noktası, yıllarca koşan ama sonunda yönünü kaybeden bir kalbin hikâyesidir. Gece ile sabahın döngüsü, yenilenen umutların tekrar tekrar kırılması, sonunda “ya düşmek ya da yeniden uyanmak” sorusuna dönüştü. Bu satırlar, kayboluş ile direniş arasındaki sessiz bir bekleyişten doğdu. --- The inspiration for this poem comes from the story of a heart that ran for years but eventually lost its way. The cycle of night and dawn, of hopes renewed only to be broken again, turned into the question of “fall or awaken once more.” These lines were born from a silent waiting, caught between being lost and resisting.
